From a somewhat random Craigslist ad:

To be held on Saturday this 24th day of October in Hudson, NY.
Registration at 4 o’clock past noon, race to ensue at FIVE.
Arrive in the character of another for extra points.
Bring backpack, lock, and light…..
Additional points awarded for protective gear upon thy head.
For info and directions, contact secondgearbikes@gmail.com
Proceeds to benefit bicycle safety and awareness throughout this community.
Prizes and beer.

    Hello, I;m one of the co-conspirators for this event. It’s going to be aprox. 9 miles, Two decent hills, we are trying to include the casuale rider from around town as well as the more committed racer. hopefully we can get you cat’s interested in future events because I know we can kick your ass
